Porridge with bananas

 

 

 

 

 

Our breakfast favourite for a cold winter day! Porridge with HoneyBerry Cinnamon, flaked almonds, sliced bananas and diced pears

Ingredients: serving: 1

40g rolled oats

125ml milk

125ml water

1 small ripe pear, diced

1 small banana, peeled and sliced

Almonds or a selection of nuts (to taste)

1 tsp Honeyberry Cinnamon

 

Method:

 

  • Put the oats, the milk and the water in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer over a medium-high heat.
  • Reduce the heat and stir occasionally for 5 minutes or until oats are tender.
  • Add the sliced banana, diced pear and HoneyBerry Cinnamon. Mix thoroughly
  • Pour into a bowl and sprinkle flaked almonds
